WELCOME TO LINKÖPING

In this section you will find infromation about the different areas that Linköping is divided in, as well as places were you can grab some food or have a few drinks with friends!

MAP OF LINKAN

1. Campus Valla: Full of engineering, humanities, education and social science students. It’s where you’ll study chemistry during your first term. Kårallen is also here as well as Campushallen, a sports and fitness centre, is also here.

2. Ryd: Where lots of you will live. Ryds Herrgård (HG), where you can drink beer, have a meal and meet friends, is here.

3. Irrblosset: Some of you Nollan will live here. It’s close to both MedFak and Valla. Villevalla is here, where you can drink and socialize.

4. Flamman: You can live here too! It’s close to town and MedFak. And it has a student pub, also called Flamman!

5. Campus US: Previously called HU (Hälsouniversitetet/Health University), it changed the name to the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences a few years ago. You’re going to spend a lot of time here.

6. Kårhuset Kollektivet: This place has also changed the name. From Nationernas Hus (or NH) to Kollektivet. Here you can party, socialize and – especially during the day – study (which you can do at all student union buildings). We call it KK.

7. Tornby: There are tons of stores here: IKEA, ICA Maxi and other stores.

FOOD AND DRINKS

If you're looking for some good places to grab something to eat or drink this is the guide for you, here are some of our favorite places that we definitely recommend you check out.

NIGHT LIFE

Even though Linkoping is not the biggest city nightlife here can be a bit confusing at first but not to worry here's a quick guide for you:

1. Kårallen, here is where the majority of student thrown parties will be held, it is also where you will be able to wear your gorgeous ovves (although it is not required). Keep your eyes open for any parties thrown here as they will always be a blast.

2. KK, KK is another location where many student thrown parties and sittnings will be thrown again we highly recommend any parties here are amazing. When parties are not being thrown it is also a pub where you can get some of the cheaper beer and ciders.

3. Flamman, this is the student nightclub where you can go and have an amazing time with some amazing music.

4. Ville Valla, Ville Valla is a student run pub where you can enjoy playing some board games and they have a wide selection of beers and ciders to enjoy.

5. Ryds Herrgård (HG), another student pub, some parties might be thrown here although they are scarce, they also might have some quiz/karaoke nights you can attend.

6. Pub Örat, yet again another student run pub however this one is right next to campus us so after a long day of lectures you can go enjoy a nice cold beer or cider.

7. Shotluckan, Shot Luckan is one of the most unique bars in all of Linkoping, it has a lot of different types of shots to try.
