WELCOME TO LiU
Campus US is known as the medical campus in LiU, it is the campus where you will spend most of your time in. Other than our awesome section, there are five other sections at the Medical Faculty. As you might interact with these other sections during your Nolle-P or during your time at LiU, we think you should know what their logos are and who they are.
Medicinska föreningen: The section for the Master of Science in Medicine program. The med students are called ‘läkarstudenter’ in Swedish, and the program is often abbreviated to ‘läk’.
Sjuksköterskesektionen: The section for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. They are called ‘sjuksköterskestudenter’ in Swedish, and their program is abbreviated to ‘SSK’.
BMA-sektionen The section for the Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Analysis program. Their program is abbreviated to ‘BMA’.
Logopedsektionen: The section for the Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology program. Speech-Language pathologists are called ‘logopeder’ in Swedish.
Fysioterapeutsektionen: The section for the Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy program. Their program is abbreviated to ‘FT’.
Campus Valla is another campus at LiU, here they are run by the student unions Stuff and Lintek whereas the programs at campus US are run by consensus. You will be having some courses here, like your general chemistry course. You also have full access to everything the campus has to offer, we highly recommend checking out the library as it's quite a nice place to study.
Although the majority of our programs have their courses in Linkoping we do have a campus in Norrkoping. There is also a campus bus that can take you to Norrkoping for free so we definitely recommend you checking it out.

One of the biggest traditions in LiU is the Ovves, every program has its own Ovve to represent them. You also get patches from every party you attend which you can place on your Ovve to show off how much of a party animal you are. At LiU we have a bunch of different associations you can join, it ranges from the International student association to Genius our gender association and so much more. There are way too many associations to mention so check out https://studentlivet.se/orbi-associations/ to check out all the different associations. Don't forget if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask!
